How many coats of ceramic does a car need?

Two coats of ceramic coating and a single coat of topcoat are more then enough to protect automobiles against imperfection, ultraviolet light, and paint chips. You should wait an hour between applications if you want the best effects.

How long does it take for a ceramic coating to cure fully?

It usually takes 72 hours to cure ceramic coatings to 90%. Pressure should not be applied or high-pressure hoses used during this time frame to preserve the coating’s effectiveness. For the best curing process, it is best to leave the vehicle in a garage or a climate controlled environment.

What happens if it rains the day after i got a ceramic coating?

If it rains the day after a ceramic coating is applied, the coating may not correctly cure because water-based impurities prevent cross-link connections from forming. In the first week after application, you shouldn’t allow the car to get wet.
